As a result of its internationalization strategy and taking advantage of the accumulated know-how in railway infrastructure over the last 17 years, STECONFER formalized in 2015 a contract for the design and provision of infrastructure and rail systems in the city of Dublin, Ireland, in order to serve an increasing number of passengers.

Working in a consortium with a local company, Steconfer operated according to EN (European Norm) standards and procedures for quality assurance, and conformed to ISO 15288 standard for the provision of the following systems:

•       Systems and equipment for maintenance and operation services;
•       Railway and turnout installation
•       Embedded track
•       Ballasted track
•       Construction of stray current
•       Rail and road traffic signal systems
•       Ballasted track sandyford depot
•       Plinth track
•       Installation and connection of feeder cables
•       Public lighting
